In those days my heart stretched across my face while my lips listened.

His electric eyes splattered energy around the room jump starting the nervous bird in my throat.

Blinking shouldn't hurt so much.

The door clacks; my kites have been cut; the bird in my throat gets strangled as I seize on the floor. my pupils suck out of view, while my cherry stained room folds up.

My lips listen; he cocks his mouth and shoots me down with one fist full of sharp tongues.
